Christine Eddinger
Christine’s story began being raised by a single mother in Arkansas. Her life was marked by adversity early on facing challenges of discrimination due to her family’s socioeconomic status and her biracial ethnicity. Additionally she had a severed relationship with her father that would result in many psychological wounds.
Although Christine was raised in brokenness and in a lower middle class home, she found solitude in her academia and took pride in fairing well in her education. She always believed that education would be her way out of the life that seemed to have little promise. She was an A and B student all through school and found great rest in knowing her performance at school was always a security.
However, Christine’s story took a turn at age 14 when her mother and caretaker passed away. Without a healthy attachment to anyone, Christine’s life began to spiral out of control. Her grief became unbearable and she found temporary solace in alcohol, drugs, and relationships. Her academia became more of a difficulty to maintain, but nevertheless she graduated high school with honors and attended her hometown university on a scholarship.
Upon arriving at college, Christine continued to spiral, to the point of losing her scholarship due to skipping classes and not meeting the grade point average required to maintain the funds. Around this same time, Christine had a personal encounter with Jesus and surrendered her life to the Lord. Shortly after, education became a priority again as she prepared to graduate with her undergraduate degree.
Due to Christine’s upbringing and sense of loneliness, she always had a desire to understand, empathize and show compassion to those who were hurting. After graduating with her Bachelor’s degree, Christine went onto pursue and obtain a Mental Health Counseling degree and become a Licensed Professional Counselor.
For the last 10 years, Christine has found herself mentoring women to understand their value and worth in The Lord and encouraging them to live lives of excellence for His glory. Christine has a partner in this journey, her husband Eathan, who also shares this passion of mentorship for Christian men. Present day, Christine desires to reach women to understand the call they have on their lives to be good stewards of all that God has entrusted to them; including their marriage, motherhood, homes, and health. Christine’s greatest passions involve hanging out with her husband and three children, listening to audiobooks, reading her Bible and journaling, working out, and having a cup of coffee while enjoying nature.
